The real value of Gersony´s art is based on her sensibility and discipline, besides the refinement of the compositions.
Her beginning in painting was more than two decades ago, through classic draw. Her artistic research passed by several phases, including oil painting and nowadays in acrylic.

Gersony´s contemporary and enigmatic abstraction, which is expressed in an exquisite way in great dimensions, make the observer dreams among flowers, strange landscapes from other planets (or from our…) or beings that are found in another universe. Working with bright colors and similar lush found in her native country, Brazil, the artist tirelessly devotes herself to her work of born colorist.
With perfect domain of the technique, allied to refined color, in her gesture, it is perceived some anxiety, some doubt, some mystery for the enrichment of the result of her work.

Gersony does not search for her inspiration, she goes to its encounter in the course of time. She sometimes retains in making the transparencies and the substance, which assume an appearance of exuberance under her serene strangely look…

The language of her artistic research, practiced as a way of life, where each picture represents a moment of her inner truth, confirms that the artist has more than talent, she has the determined wish of going further and open new paths in the 21st century.
